Alright parents, you’ve had your fun, time to break out the kids and get going with some fun for ages 6-14. If you’ve never visited the Legoland Discovery Center you’re seriously missing out! Honestly, it’s one of the best family fun attractions in the city, and this October you’ve got some awesome chances to experience some great new attractions. This month the Legoland Discovery Center in KC will be hosting its annual Brick-or-Treat; a chance for kids from around the city to come and take part in activities like the Spooky Scavenger Hunt. You’ll also be able to take part in Halloween build activities in the Master Build Academy.  Take advantage of these activities on October 20th-21th, or if you miss that date the Legoland Discovery Center will be hosting these activities again from October 27th-28th. Wear your costume when you visit during these weekends for a chance to win an Annual Pass to the KC Legoland Discovery Center!

4. Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt

WOF Halloween Haunt Night.jpg

A Kansas City classic, the Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt is always a great time. For the month of October Worlds of Fun will be hosting the Halloween Haunt every Friday and Saturday. But, in order to experience these spooky attractions you’ll need to adjust your schedule just a bit. You’ll only be able to take in all the scary activities of Halloween Haunt from 6PM – 12AM on Fridays. Thankfully, Saturdays these events will run from 11AM to 1AM. What should you expect from the Worlds of Fun Halloween Haunt you might be asking? According to WOF’s website  “Experience the thrills of your favorite rides and the chills of extreme haunts as you navigate the fog-filled midways where over 400 monsters lurk to feed off your screams.” So, there you have it! The website is very clear that these nights are not recommended for children under the age of 14. I will personally second that opinion.
